Stand-up-paddle Soustons Plage

Who are we ?


The Pôle Nautique de Soustons Plage is ideally located on the shores of the Port d'Albret lake, in between Soustons and Vieux Boucau. Within our structure, we provide you with:

• equipment rentals and free practice on the lake
• initiations with an instructor
• trips down the Soustons' current
• strolls, cruising and games for groups

Moreover, we have recently launched a new activity: the supsquatch. It is a giant paddle board, nothing better for a sharing moment with your family and/or friends.
→ school, summer camp and employees' council outings are also possible.
→ capacity of 10 adults (or 15 children) - there are 2 supsquatch at your disposal.

For your safety during the supervised sessions, the groups consist of a maximum of 12 persons. All our coaches are qualified (french Surf Instructor Certifications or equivalent accreditations). 
Besides, the Pôle Nautique de Soustons Plage is certified by the Directorate for Youth and Sports in the Landes département and the Inspection de l'Académie (sub-regional branch of the Education Ministry).

We are open from March till October.

Trip down the Soustons' current

  • • Kayak trip starting from the sail school in Port d'Albret, Soustons Plage

  • → we drop you off directly on site with our minivan

  • → 7kms river-ride on a gentle stream, at the heart of the Landes pinewood forest (1.5 hrs)

  • → additional departure at 4pm in case of overcrowding

We recommend you to start at 10am... It is less windy and thus easier for your arms!
